Bradley Trowbridge, the Boy Scout who is working hard to receive his Eagle Scout status had a very busy and exciting day. Bradley’s Eagle Scout project is the Veteran’s Memorial. On August 20, 2008 Bradley was able to attend the VFW (Veteran’s of Foreign War) National Convention in Orlando where he was allowed to explain this project.
This convention was covered by local and national news and there were over 6000 people in attendance. Bradley had the pleasure of speaking in front of all of them, including President Bush. It was Bush’s attendance along with the Presidential candidates, Senator Obama and Senator McCain appearances that drew national attention.
